Edge-Banding Services

The edge banding process involves the application of narrow strips of material to cover the exposed sides of MDF, chipboard or plywood, for a more seamless and coordinated finish.

This adds to the durability and longevity of the final product. The edge band material can be manufactured using an array of materials such as melamine, wood, acrylic and PVC.

Previously, edge banding was a manual process formed of arduous repetitive manufacturing steps which often resulted in adhesion and quality issues. Presently, we now use a specialized edge banding machine, which serves automated, high-volume and fault-free production. The edge bander is designed to bond the edge band onto the core board, which is ideal for the mass production of units such at cabinets, kitchen countertops, interior furniture etc.
